This room was often occupied by Margarita’s father, Michael P. Grace when he would visit. The photograph on the table is of Michael's four daughters, noted in the press as "the four Graces." Like the Blue Guest Room, this bedroom is decorated with antique hand-painted wallpaper, the perfect background for the oriental porcelains fashionable in the mid-18th century.
Underscoring the Eastern mood of the room is a carved gilt frame overmantel of chinoiserie design with figures and scenes painted in reverse on the surface of the glass. The mirror was recently cleaned and restored in 2019.
